Flower & Food Festival Springs To Life With New Culinary and Bloom Creations

As spring comes to life in the Smokies, so does Dollywood’s Flower & Food Festival (April 18 to June 8) with vibrant blooms and spectacular colors, tasty spring treats and an abundance of new and exciting entertainment.

Dollywood goes above and beyond with Flower & Food Festival décor, and our beloved colorful and cheerful Mosaiculture sculptures return all around the Park. Several of our most well-loved creations, including woodland friendly animals, a touching depiction of Dolly’s mother crafting the Coat of Many Colors and brand-new butterflies providing a kaleidoscope of colors will be on display.

The mesmerizing Umbrella Sky is back on Showstreet for you to capture plenty of “Instagram-worthy” shots. The hundreds of colorful umbrellas suspended in the air also provide the perfect shaded area on a warm spring day.

The culinary team has crafted a menu of tasty treats all throughout the Park. For anyone wanting a sweet treat, the Blueberry Pie Milkshake and Wild Berry Cream Cheese Funnel Cake are the perfect pick. If you are craving something a bit more savory, the Smoky Mountain Grilled Corn and Loaded Street Fries make for a great snack. The Pesto Caprese Panini is another great option for you and your family to fuel your Dollywood adventure, and the Dolly inspired Salad of Many Colors provides a refreshing bite on a nice spring day. Entertainment is in abundance for the Flower & Food Festival with a multitude of new and returning shows and the appearance of some special characters. Seven talented performers will star in “Forever Country” in Valley Theater to celebrate some of the best country music of the 80s and 90s. Lauren Jelencovich kicks off the lineup of talented performers that will perform on the Chapel Steps throughout the festival, and the reimagined Imagination Playhouse will bring popular children’s books to life starting on April 19.

The special 40^th Anniversary Show “Play On” will make its debut on May 3, and a new acapella group will perform current pop up-tempo favorites at Back Porch Theater May 19. In addition to the entertaining shows, butterfly characters Flit & Flutter will be in the Market Square area to meet everyone throughout the festival.
