Diamond Passholders, Register for a Sneak Preview of The Dolly Parton Experience!

With the highly-anticipated Dolly Parton Experience opening in just two weeks, we've been working diligently at Dollywood to ensure every detail is in place before the area officially opens on May 24. 

As part of the exciting build-up, we are inviting our 2024 Diamond Season Passholders to register for an exclusive sneak preview of the Songteller and Behind the Seams attractions as part of the Dolly Parton Experience! On May 17, 18 and 19, Diamond Passholders have exclusive access to these attractions before they officially open to the public on May 24. Here are a few things Diamond Passholders should know about registering and attending a sneak preview time:

How to Register

This is a ticketed event. Sneak preview times are available May 17, 18 and 19 from 12:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., and Diamond Passholders should log in to their My Dollywood Account to register.

Diamond Passholders will find an "Action Required" entitlement for the sneak preview days available to redeem in their My Dollywood Account beginning May 14 at 11 a.m. ET.

Going through the redemption process for this entitlement will prompt you to register for a time slot. The entitlement can only be redeemed once.

This event is exclusive to 2024 Diamond Season Passholders only. Each member of your party wishing to attend the event must have a valid 2024 Diamond Season Pass to register. Children 3 and younger or children with a Pre-K Imagination Season Pass are the only exceptions to this rule. Silver Passholders, Gold Passholders, Platinum Passholders and guests with Bring-A-Friend Free tickets do not qualify. Children 3 and younger will not need an event ticket.

How to Enter During Your Sneak Preview Time

On the day of your timeslot, you will enter the park like any other day by scanning your Diamond Season Pass at the turnstiles. After entering the park, you will make your way to the entry point of the Dolly Parton Experience adjacent to Jukebox Junction, near the Pines Theater, during the 30-minute window of time you selected where you will present your area entry ticket.

There will be a 15-minute grace period if you are running behind. The 30-minute time slot is only for your entry into the area, so you may stay in the area as long as you like.

As these attractions will not be officially open to the public, please be patient as there may be delays, technical difficulties or elements that aren’t fully updated. We're also using these sneak preview days as an opportunity to train our hosts, so please give them patience as well!  

We are so excited to share this reimagined area with our guests who love Dolly as much as we do! Formerly the Adventures in Imagination area, the new Dolly Parton Experience will feature Dolly’s iconic Home on Wheels tour bus, as well as three new attractions, including:

Songteller, a walk-through journey of exhibits spanning Dolly’s life and iconic career, including the inspiration for and results of her biggest dreams.

Behind the Seams, a one-of-a-kind exhibit allowing you to explore a curated selection of Dolly’s signature style through the years and a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process.

Precious Memories, where you'll discover the importance of Dolly’s faith and family in a whole new exhibit within the Dreamsong theater as you queue for the new show "Heidi Parton’s Kin & Friends."
