Ahoy, mateys! Are you searching the seven seas for fun, food and swashbuckling adventure? Ever wondered what a pirate’s adventure in the Great Smoky Mountains looks like? Well look no further than the Pirates’ Voyage Dinner & Show in our very own Pigeon Forge, Tennessee!

Experience the wonder of joining the show from your seat as you watch the rivalry and sword fights between the Crimson and Sapphire pirate crews led by Captain Blackbeard in his quest to find Davey Jones’ sunken treasure. The battles take place on land and at sea on the two full-sized pirate ships that are unlike any other stage! The original, wildly-fun pirates’ show out of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has been brought to the mountains for a one-of-a-kind experience the whole family is sure to love.

Watching this show took my breath away. Filled with thrilling pyrotechnics, acrobatics and diving stunts into a 15-foot-lagoon, there is not a dull moment in sight.

Sound exciting enough yet? Did I mention that the friends of the lagoon, including Salty the sea lion, a team of dogs, several beautiful macaws and ducks? Don’t forget the dazzling mermaids who add extra magic and dive headfirst into the fun. Want to really get in on the action? Audience participation is highly encouraged, and these pirates make sure everyone is included!

Not only is the show phenomenally fun, the four-course feast is perfect for a hungry pirate crew! Start off with a Buccaneer Biscuit and Voyager Creamy Vegetable Soup before diving into a helping of fried chicken, sugar-cured ham, cob-o’ buttery corn and an herb-basted potato. Top it off with a Walk the Plank specialty dessert and unlimited Coca-Cola, tea, or coffee.

But wait! Are you a vegetarian like me? Vegan, gluten- or dairy-free? Have no fear! This team of pirates takes care of all its mates and has different meal options available upon request. Just mention your needs at the time of reservation. The Me Harties Vegetarian Feast includes a delicious spread of fire-roasted veggies with quinoa and multigrain rice, a cob-o’-buttery corn, an herb-basted potato and a biscuit. An optional addition is the tasty voyager creamy vegetable soup, though the soup is made with chicken broth. Complete with a specialty dessert, we plant-based pirates do not have to miss out on all the fun.

This show is not just for the kids – kids at heart are more than encouraged to let their inner pirate or mermaid shine! The excitement doesn’t have to stop there either; stop by the gift shop after the show for pirate gear to keep the adventure going at home!
