Pin Etiquette

Here are a few tips to keep pin trading fun and fair!

• When trading with employees, offer a pin that is not already displayed on their lanyard.
• Adults should trade with adults just as children should trade with children. But, anyone can trade with Dollywood employees.
• Remember, employees are limited to two trades per person.
• To avoid confusion, trade one pin at a time, hand to hand.
• It's fine to ask the person wearing the lanyard to better position a pin for closer viewing. However, respect each other's personal space and refrain from touching another person's pin or lanyard.
• Be safety conscious; only trade pins with the back attached.
• All pins should be in good, undamaged condition.
• Pins from an employee's lanyard may only be traded; they may not be sold.
• Only official Dollywood pins may be traded.
• Special limited edition and special event pins are not sold. Some are available only through employee trades.
• Pin trading starter kits are available at the Official Pin Trading Station, Temple's Mercantile, the Dollywood Emporium, the Gazebo and Hillside General Store.
