Dollywood entertainment park will conduct a five-city audition tour in search of performers for its 2007 season. Auditions will take place in Atlanta (Jan. 6); Asheville, N.C. (Jan. 7—musicians only), Nashville, Tenn. (Jan.13) & (Jan. 14—musicians only), Cincinnati (Jan. 20); and Pigeon Forge, Tenn. (Jan. 27) and (Jan. 28—musicians only).
“After the award-winning success of our new Dreamland Drive-In show and the overwhelming response to our new Dollywood’s Babes in Toyland production, we want to maintain the caliber of performers that we’ve discovered during past auditions,” said Paul T. Couch, Dollywood Director of Entertainment. “We’re looking for performers who can benefit from all that Dollywood has to offer while allowing these performers to showcase their talents and entertain our guests.”
Dollywood is seeking singers, actors, specialty performers, instrumentalists, stage managers, technicians and dressers for its 2007 season (March 31-Dec. 30). Special “musician only” audition dates are intended to provide a more effective experience for musician candidates. However, musicians may audition at any audition site.
